I am about to use a fermentor for the first time. How does it adhere to the carboy?

I meant to say fermometer. Sorry.

Adhesive backing. Peel and stick it to the carboy. Try not to bend it too much.

I always tried to place mine lower on the carboy or bucket, that way if I was doing a half batch it would still read correctly. But yes, peel the backing off and stick it on there.
