I have had good results with this yeast and I have a few packets on hand. Can anyone see a reason not to use this yeast in an american IPA? I know the attenuation can be a bit lower that US-05. I was going to mash at 152. I have gotten 78% Attenuation. I’d be okay with some fruit esters. Thoughts???
Mash lower or drop some of the crystal malts (or a little of both).
Ha… Shadetree you always are there arent you! Drop to maybe 151 and drop the cara/c60 by half?
Just to note… 87% base… .5 lb of c60… Carapils… and Red Wheat
