Fermentation question?

Hello I am looking over a recipe in BYO about New England ipa. an I notice some of instructions for dry hopping it say to ferment at 68f as fermentation nears completion transfer the beer to a keg an add dry hops. Ok my other question is how many days into fermentation is nearing the completion for one to add the dry hop’s.

One or two weeks. But you still need to let fermentation finish in the keg so keep it at 70deg. When I make my NEIPA I dry hop in the fermenter after about 10 days. I leave them in there for a week then transfer to the keg on more dry hops. Its up to you really
