Fermentation Issue?

I am in the process of making my first batch of hard cider. I used home grown cider from my family orchard that is cold pasteurized, and used some Ale yeast in this first batch. I started a 3 gallon batch in my 6 gallon primary that I use making beer (O.G. of 1.056). Within the 48 hours the cider was working well, with a fair amount of bubbling in the airlock. Since, (only 4 days into the primary fermentation), there is little to no activity…has anyone experienced this? I planned roughly 2 weeks in the primary followed by a secondary ferm. But am a little confused/concerned that the airlock seems to have gone “silent" this soon. Any suggestions?

Check the SG and see where its at. But, 3 gals of 1.056 with a healthy yeast could ferment out fairly quickly. Let it sit a couple more days and check your gravity.
