so i am week in on fermenting american wheat and it does not release gas like it did the first two days. did i do something wrong or is it normal?

what temp did it ferment at? if you at 70 or thereabouts then it is probably done. take a hydro reading and see where it is at.

Also the seal on buckets and carboys are not always perfect, so maybe it only bubbled during really intense fermentation. In an event, give it at least 2-3 weeks in primary

Did my first bucket ferment recently. No airlock action after 3 days so I popped the lid off and it had a big head of krauesen on it. CO2 was taking the easiest route outta the bucket. Under the lid.
