I was planning to brew this past weekend but didn’t get a chance to. I made a starter on Tuesday of last week and placed it in the refrigerator on Friday. I wanted to find out if I can just add more cooled wort to my starter and leave it at room temperature until the night before I’m ready to brew this coming Saturday.
I would just leave it in the fridge until brew day, no need to feed it.
I would not do anything with it either.
You could add an extra quart to the boil kettle (if doing a full boil). Pull this back out 10-15 minutes later and cool. Then add the yeast to this. After boil is over and wort is cooled, add the quart of yeast to the fermenter. That will give the yeast 1-2 hours to get jump started.
