Explosive fermentation

Brewed dead ringer about 20 hours ago. Fermentation off like a rocket. Blew completely through the airlock filled with starsan. Is there any concern with this. Haven’t had this happen

It sounds like you are fermenting well into the 70F plus temp range. Try to keep it below 70 if at all possible. 60-65 is prefered. The higher temps promote the productin of fusel alcohols which taste hot and give you one helluva rod knocker the next morning.
