If I bring 4 gallons to boil in my kettle for one hour and record the loss, will I get the same evaporation as I would with say a 1050 wort? This may be silly, but does the gravity of the liquid affect the evaporation rate? I just want to recalculate my evap rate to see if my initial testing was way off. Thanks for any responses.
