So, I made my first ever batch of beer. I used the White House Honey Wheat Ale, 1 gallon. I think I may have messed it up. I add more water to make 5 gallons in Fermentation. Did I mess it up? I’m thinking so…Should I just dump and restart? Or is there away to save it?
If the kit was a 1 gallon kit and you added water to increase the volume to 5 gallons you definitely messed up. This will basically taste like flavored water 
:? Guess I dump, clean and try again.
Can you go through your whole process? To me, it’s not very clear what you did. How did you add 5 gallons in the fermentation jug if it’s only a 1 gallon kit? The jug is only a gallon so I’m not sure how that happened.
Maybe if you go through the whole process you did some of the folks here can help you correct it for the next batch.

I agree. Tell us what steps and don’t be embarrassed. Everyone here has a disaster story of some kind while brewing. You will get it right and be very happy with the results.
