Double fining with gelatin

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone that uses gelatin has ever hit their batch (primary or secondary) with a second gelatin addition. Naturally the idea would be to extra clarify a batch prior to bottling/kegging. Have you? Was it worth it? Was there a difference between only one gel addition?
Thanks, Mike

Interesting idea. Do you think you need a second dose?
Personally I’ve never used gelatin mostly because I have a bunch of isinglass which I believe serves the same purpose and works the same way. I’ve had really good results with that stuff in the keg or secondary.

I use plain old knox with great success but I happen to have a pumpkin beer where it appears much of the spice is stubbornly remaining in suspension. I know most if not all will drop out when kegged and refrigerated. I am just seeking any available information.
