diacetyl

I have a kegged lager. It has been in the fridge for 4 weeks. Just tried it and it has that slight buttery taste. I didnt give it a rest at the end of fermentation. Would it be possible to let it warm up for a rest now, or is it too late. I did not fine it.

You would have been better off to do the d-rest while you had a little yeast activity left, but I think you will still see benifits from doing a d-rest now. You should still get good results. Good luck. By the way, what yeast did you use?

Brewbender, I used wyeast 2487 hellabock. Thanks!
