Denny's Rye IPA FG

I brewed the extract Denny’s Rye Smile IPA and hit an OG Of 1.078. Use two packs of US-05 and after fermentation ended up at 1.020 FG. I read that Denny usually ends at 1.013, but my Ibrewmaster software says I will end up at 1.020 also. Any ideas on how I can get a lower FG? I tasted it after primary and I could drink it all now, it is that good!

You got 74% attenuation which is good. Your high FG is likely due to brewing with extract which often results in higher FG. I would warm it up a little, swirl the fermenter (just hard enough to get the yeast back in suspension) and let it sit. This MIGHT get it to drop a little bit but it is likely done. Other than that, if it tastes good then why worry?

You can shake the carboy or bucket to rouse the yeast. Don’t worry about “splashing” the beer since the headspace would be mostly CO2.
