Dead Ringer IPA question

I was reading through some of the forum topics this morning when I realized I made a mistake while brewing this beer over the weekend. The receipe says to add 2oz of hops @ 5 minutes… I only added 1oz…I got so caught up in everything else I just didn’t pay attention. It says to make a hops addition in the secondary a week or so before kegging…should I add the 2oz to make up for my mistake or just let it go? :? I also noticed when pitching the yeast that only 1 of the nutrient packs in my smack pack was busted…pitched it anyway…had good activity all day yesterday in the air lock so I assume things will be ok here…

I really wanted to nail this one…

No worries,

You will have 2 ounces for dry hop now, and IMO this is an even better use of that extra ounce than at 5 minutes.
Absolutely add them both. 8)

+1

you are going to have more hop aroma. That is never a bad thing.

That’s a tough beer to screw up, 2 oz of centennial will smell awesome. You’ll love that batch.
