Can a wine corker be used to cork beer bottles as well?

Yes, it kind of depends on which kind but they all can be used. I have a hand corker that I use to push Belgian corks halfway in. I also have a floor corker for corking Champagne style bottles.

I also have a hand corker. I’ve only used straight corks and capped on top. A floor corker would be a benefit if you plan on corking regularly.
