I am in the process of making a new keezer. I need a computer fan to run to the lines that are going thru my wall. My question is that all the computer fans I’ve seen run on 12V DC current. What is the easiest way to get from 110V AC to the computer fan. Do I just buy one of the transformers they sell on ebay that is designed for LED lights? Thanks for your help/suggestions.
Actually, you can get 110V AC muffin fans. DigiKey has a bunch.
Surely you have something around your house with an old 12 volt DC power supply you can steal the cord off of. Old cordless phones, old battery charger, etc. I bet if you look around you’ll find one. The output will be written on the plug.
