Cold Brewing

Just finished chilling a 20 gallon batch of IPA, and it sure is cold up here in New England. Coldest day of the season so far by far, first day that the daytime temps haven’t climbed above freezing. Taking a break from the cold garage right now, soon will be moving on to the basement and racking the last batch off the yeast and into kegs, and draining this batch into the carboys to give the yeast something to do. Then it’s back at fighting frozen equipment as I try to clean everything up before it turns to ice.
