I’m planning on brewing this coffee stout this weekend. The recipe is loosely based off a recipe Michael Dawson posted on the NB blog awhile back. Let me know how it looks.
Partial Mash:
3.5# Maris Otter
1 # Oat Malt
3/4 # Chocolate Malt
1/2 # Extra Dark Crystal Malt
1/2 # Flaked Oats
1/2 Carafa III
2 # Light DME
Mash at 154 for 60 minutes
Hops:
1 oz East Kent Goldings- 60 mins
Yeast:
S-04
I plan on “dry hopping” the beer in the secondary with 4 oz of coarsly ground, dark roasted coffee beans for 10-14 days and then bottling.
