CO2 problem in wine

When racking a wine yesterday i had trouble keeping the siphon going the bend in racking cane
seemed to fill with CO2 and the lower the wine got in the pail the worse the problem was.
The wine started at 1.097 and was racked at 1.03 it had been fermenting for 10 days at 75F.
I usually let the wine sit for 2or 3 weeks but this kit said to remove the skins and raisins at
1.010. Is this normal for a wine that is at 1.003 never had this problem before this is ~ my 80th
kit. Gary

Have you inspected your racking cane to make sure its not drawing in air?
I have never had an issue keeping a siphon going and I commonly rack wines in that range.

No the siphon work perfectly with water not a hint of a bubble.
