new to all grain brewing, im getting my feet wet trying to understand all the data fields with the “mash water 3.3” program by JT. I just want to clarify does “mash tun loss/gal” and “boil pot loss/gal” refer to the estimated residual amount of wort that may lay in the bottom off each pot? or is it something else. It would seem it’s not referring to the “boil off rate” because that’s already factored in elsewhere. thanks. acbrews.
