I’ve noticed that a lot of the store items with Centennial hops say “Centennial Type” hops. Why is that?
Real centennial is sold out from most hop suppliers. Supposedly this is a blend of Cascade and Columbus.

Synopsis: Not the quite same, but some folks like their aroma better than the real deal’s so it sounds like they’re worth a try.
weird. i’ve never seen that. but in all honesty, I would be more inclined to buy them if it actually said ‘cascade columbus blend’
i love me some cascade and columbus
I’ve used them. They didn’t really remind me of Centennial much at all, but it was a nice hop combo.
