Carmelite Triple-Grain Tripel color?

I noticed something odd in the color of the carmelite triple-grain tripel partial mash kit that I recently brewed. The color I was expecting (as depicted in the catalog) was present, but really only when I held it up in the light. Otherwise, it was a darker murkier color upon first glance. The taste is nice, fruity, sweet and with plenty of boozy warmth in the finish. But the color is a little weird. Any ideas or comments as to why this would have occurred? Did anyone else experience the same thing?

Is the beer clear or do you have sediment/yeast particles in suspension?
