Hello all… I was fortunate enough to receive 2 caribou slobber extract kits for Christmas this year. However, that sure does seem like quite a bit, and was wondering if anyone has done any types of variants at all with these. This may be a dumb question, and maybe I should just let it be the way it is and make both. However, maybe some of you have added some things to it or tried something different, thoughts?
I added 24 oz maple syrup to my second slobber batch…going to bottle in a few days
seemed to be worth a few points in OG but cant taste any maple flavor thus far
I haven’t tried it yet, but I am considering it next week. I read about 1/2 gallon of coffee cold to the carboy as a substitute for 1/2 gallon of cold water.
I plan on brewing it myself and I was thinking since the sight says the coffee and cacao nibs goes good with it I would tweak it and use the cacao nibs and cherries and call it a chocolate covered cherrie. Im excited to try it. Feel free to take that idea and use it. Happy brewing!!
