Hi all, just wondering what the FG should read for the caribou slobber. I checked at 7 days and it was 1.040 at 10 days it’s 1.020. When should I check it again?
With me being a lazy ass, what is the OG on this beer?
1.040 @ 7 days is very high. Unless the OG is in the 1.100 range.
1.020 is close to the FG. Will depend on the temp the fermenter is at, health of the yeast, fermentability of the wort…
Is your hydrometer accurate? Have you tested it in distilled water at the temp listed on the scale?
