Carboy or bottle aging

What is the better route to go - bottle the wine at the time or SG that the kit states to or let it age longer in the carboy? I hate to tie up a carboy any longer than I have to. Does it affect the aging process any different?

The extended aging will help with the clearing as well. Has it cleared completely?

Not yet - I have about a little more than a week to go before the kit says it should be ready to bottle. But do understand that it depends on the clarity of the wine. If it is not clear after this - do I need to add more clarifying agent to it?

I wouldn’t add anymore unless you it has trouble clearing over an extended period of time. Time will do great things for a wine in both aging and clarity. There is no need to rush it.
