Can you switch posts on corny kegs?

I have a pin lock set up and this 1.75 gallon keg is pretty awesome…can i remove the ball lock post and attach my pin lock post to this keg?

I don’t think so. I think the threads are different. If it was simple, I think they would give you a choice when you ordered.

The above link give the thread sizes for various kegs.

By using the threaded disconnects you can switch between pin locks and ball locks easily.

I believe I read that there is a special adapter post that allows you to switch from ball to pin I just can’t remember were I saw them. Try google maybe you can find them.

Is this what you are looking for?

I think it would be cheaper to do the disconnects. Especially if you have multiple pin lock kegs.

yeah, thats them but it was at a different sight and they were a little less expensive.

He wants to go the other way, from ball to pin. I have found ball-lock and pin-lock gas posts that are interchangeable, but not beer posts. You can get some ball-lock QDs and use flare fittings, or just get one dedicated set of hoses.
