I ordered a couple pounds of hops from Yakima Valley and when they arrived today there was an additional 2 oz pack of hops in the package labeled Calypso-Caliente 14.9AA. I’m assuming it’s a blend of the 2 hops?
Calypso - Hints of pear and apple, lemon lime, notes of earthly tea, pleasant
Caliente - The aroma has a little lemon zest and a hint of pine, but it is dominated by a very distinct stone fruit aroma. I got a really nice juicy aroma of fresh peach/nectarine/plum from this hop.
Sounds like an interesting mix. Anyone ever use these?
