I just did a CDA with ProMash and my IBUs came up at 113.6
I did the exact same recipe on BeerSmith and the IBU’s came out at 30.
Anyone have a clue what the problem may be?
Here’s my recipe
4 Gal. Batch O.G. 1.074
• ½ lbs. Carafa Special III
• ½ lbs. Crystal 60L
• 6.6 lbs. Light DME. I added bulk at beginning of boil, 1 lbs. in last five minutes.
Hop Schedule
• ¾ oz. Citra(14% Leaf) – FWH
• 1 oz. Magnum(12.8% Pellet) – 60 min. (Chinook would also work)
• 1 ½ oz. Simcoe – Flameout
• 1 ½ oz. Citra – Flameout (Amarillo, would also be a good substitute)
• 1 ½ oz. Simcoe – Dry hop, last 5 days of Secondary
• 1 ½ oz. Citra – Dry hop, last 5 days of Secondary
