Congrats! Sounds like a great kolsch. Have one lagering right now and I’m really psyched for it to be done (likely another 2 weeks)…
How long do you lager for?
depends on the beer, usually 4-6 weeks. In darker lagers, I’ve found that they don’t need as long, but get a bit better. However, that just might be due to the fact that I’m waiting to drink it and the anticipation makes it better!
I think the anticipation DOES make it better, but almost every beer I’ve brewed gets better with age.
