We had a little tornado/high wind action a few days ago, nothing like Moore OK but enough to snap hundreds of trees and bring down most of the power to the town of 18000. We have been without power but thanks to the turkey fryer we are able to cook and make coffee. The hot water gave out on day two (electric), and last night we were in need of a bath. So out comes the 10gal brewpot and 7gal of water was heated for the job. FYI the recipe is: add 15gal of cold water to your bathtub and let it sit 30min+ to take the chill off it. Add 7gal of near boiling water, stir and add cold water to get the right final temp. I was thinking 110F would be good, wifey says thats a bit warm. I should add that hop residue provides a soothing aroma experience although you might be drug tested the next day at work.
Hoping to see electricity restored before we leave for camping on Friday night.
