I got some of the Goose Island Bourbon County Stout and BC Barleywine today which was pretty cool. The stout is the 2012 though, I still have 6 from last year and was looking forward a vertical tasting in a few years. Anyone else get some of the 2012s today or did you get the 2013? Don’t know if it will do any good, but I sent GI an email about it…
The 2013 was released today, supposedly they made twice as much as last year.
Having said that, I dont know what they label it since its barrel aged a year so technically this year’s was brewed in 2012.
This years is labled 2013, mine from last year are labled 2012…the ones from last year and the ones I got today have the same bottle date. Not a bad problem to have, but I was looking forward to the new one.
