I currently have this kit in secondary. The sample I took when transferring gave the porter an ABV right at 6.5%. My question is how others have calculated the final ABV after adding the bourbon. I used the recommended 16 oz of Makers Mark (90 proof). I only soaked the oak cubes in the bourbon for 2 days so i don’t expect that too much was soaked up. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
