Bourbon Barrel Porter 2 Gallon Kit Yeast Question

Good day to All,
I was going over the kit instructions that came with the kit. In Step 12 of the instructions it states: Sanatize and open the Yeast package and pour the half of the packet into the BrewDemon. Do I pour in the whole package that came with the kit or just half??

I would just pitch the whole thing. The over pitch is not going to hurt a thing.

I agree. The remaining half a pack of yeast you would have to make bread with or throw away. It’s not worth saving for a later brew.
