Bottleing disaster

Attemted to bottle the Surly Furious on Sunday. Had tied a sanitized nylon sock around the end of my syphoning tube in the bottleing bucket and started to syphon from under the hop raft. All was going well untill my syphon started to plug from the hops starting to fall and plugged my syphon. Made an attempt to unclog but it turned into a disaster, had beer everywhere and could not get a syhon started again. Question is my priming sugar was made for a 5 gallon batch, and I ended up with about 2/3 of it bottled, left about 1 1/2 gallons in the carboy, will I end up with bottle bombs or just some off flavors from a higher concentration of sugar?

I think you’re fine. Most likely you’re just going to end up with a fizzier beer, but it should not result in bottle bombs.
