Bottled my first batch

I bottled my first batch, an APA, and let it sit for 2 weeks to carbonate. That seems to have gone well.

I tried one beer last week (with one week conditioning) and another last night with two weeks conditioning. The bottles are stored under my stairs in a wine closet and the temperature is a consistent 60 degrees. The beer tastes fine but feels thin when I’m drinking it. Will this improve with more time? Since this is my first batch I have no idea what to expect.

Yes, it will improve. Minimum 3 weeks for carbonation at room temp. At 60 degrees, it will take longer. I’d move to a warmer location (assuming they’re in a box or can be stored out of light). It wouldn’t hurt to invert the bottles to ensure the yeast is in suspension (just for a second, then returning to the box of course).
