Over the next few days we will be transitioning the Forums over to a new host to accommodate the growth of the board and to increase performance in general. There may be some interruption of service but rest assured the board will be back.
**Update: I will be locking this board at 21:00 CDT Today, 10/11/2012. A Maintenance message will appear if you attempt to login. Once the Domain Name change has taken affect you should be getting to the new server and able to login as normal.

The “View active topics” link is not working for me.
When I click it I get this screen.

Then when I click go, I get no results, unless I select all results. And then it only pulls results from the “Wine Recipe Exchange” & “Video Hot To’s” sections.
Ok, found a new awesome setting. Before it just had to be set at the top level of the forum. Now each forum can be set to be queried for active topics. Running through now and enabling.
I updated the mail configuration, I was able to get a registration email from forum@northernbrewer.com, it did show up in spam though. I’ll look into it further.
Yeah there are still some accounts that look like spammers that are still active. It doesn’t look like any new ones have registered though. I’m hoping they are a dying breed.
FWIW there were new accounts created this morning that were spammers. nabil created his account at 4:34AM this morning and posted a bunch of spam. PJ took care of him.
Technically we do already have the search bar at the top if you are using the CA Gen2 Blue theme. I’ll look at some smily packs. As far as background color goes, I don’t think that is configurable per user. And spellcheck, I can probably do without to much fuss.
