Recently used Boilermaker 10 gallon to boil a 5 gallon batch. I noticed during the 1 hour boil that wort would boil in the sight glass and overflow out the top back into the wort. Won’t this create hot side aeration?
HSA is pretty much not a concern for homebrewing. I wouldn’t view wort moving from the sight glass to the kettle any different than the regular wort movement during the boil.
