Here is what i had left over and accumulated so i thought i would try to make a batch. Thinking of using wlpoo1 for this one. it will be a 5 gallon batch. The honey will be added for the last 20 minutes of the boil.

65% 8# 0 American Two-row Pale
8% 1 0 American Munich

8% 1 0 American White Wheat

6% 0 12oz Carafa Special III

4% 0 8oz Carafoam

4% 0 8oz American Vienna

4% 0 8 Orange Blossom Honey

first wort 0.75 Chinook leaf 11.1 A.A.

boil 30 mins 0.25 Chinook leaf 11.1

boil 15 mins 0.25 Nelson Sauvin pellet 12.0

boil 10 mins 0.25 Chinook leaf 11.1

boil 10 mins 0.25 Nelson Sauvin pellet 12.0

boil 5 mins 0.5 Nelson Sauvin pellet 12.0

boil 1 min 1.5 Nelson Sauvin pellet 12.0

dry hop 7 days 1.5 Nelson Sauvin pellet 12.0

Without actually running the numbers, I think the IBUs are going to be on the low side.

Thanks. That is what I was mainly worried about. Any recommendations for the hop schedule?

For IPAs, I prefer about 50% of the IBUs from the FWH and/or 60-min additions then the rest in the 0-10 minute range. And a big dryhop.

I really can’t speak to the recipe you have as I have never heard of or tried those hops, but I will say…if you have never tried the NB Black IPA kits…try them…
