I’m planning on doing this kit again as its one of my favorites and I have 5 ounces of Simcoe I picked up a few weeks ago to stock pile and I was thinking of adding a few ounces to this kit.
I was thinking add 1 oz of pellets at 15 with the cascades and then 1 oz leaf to dry hop with the cascades.
Opinions?
Sounds good to me. I don’t care for simcoe as a bittering hop, but your boil addition and dry hop sound like an awesome addition!

don’t waste simcoe as a bittering hop use simcoe as the 2 hop additions that you described. Save the dry hops as next time bittering hops. just saying

Yep, as stated that is why I’m keeping it a 15 minute and dry hop addition, I believe that makes it an aroma/flavoring addition.
Are you saying don’t mix it with the cascades and just use the simcoe’s for the dry hop?
Will they not work well together?
Do this. Simcoe is a great aroma/flavor hop.
