Biofine and bottling

I keg almost everything and hate bottling but have a pumpkin ale that I would prefer to bottle to give out to friends for the holidays. Some of them know nothing about brewing and might freak if it is cloudy so I got a packet of powdered Biofine to clear it. Any problems with carbonation without adding yeast back in? If so I will skip it, cold crash and hope for the best. OG was 1.060, FG should approach 1.010.

I, personally, would go the cold crash method. I have never used a fining agent of any kind for bottling & would fear an uncarbonated beer. I’m guessing you don’t have a CP bottle filler.

Yes I have a CP filler. It’s a PIA though. I end up wearing a lot of my beer.

ahhh, gotcha. ideally, fining in the keg & CP fill from there. I’m gonna lean toward the cold crash.
