I’m doing a lite beer Brew in Bag. 6#Pils malt 1 hr. at 150F 1 hr. 3 gal mash water. what temp do I want the strike water at? Is there an online calc? thanks
10 to 12° usually works for me.
If you’re doing it in a kettle, don’t sweat it too much - start maybe 5F above the target and then if you’re low just add a little heat to bring it up to temp.
I go 10* over when mashing 10-15lbs of grain.
For 6lbs, 5-7* may work fine.
