Hello what is the best method for sanitizing a Erlenmeyer flask?
I clean with PBW, rinse well, and shake Star San solution in it to coat. Dump Star San solution just before use.

Starsan works great. If I use mine for souring bugs then I bake it at 225 for 1/2 hour to make sure it’s bug free.
Boiling some water in it should do it. When I use mine to make a starter wort with extract, as long as its clean I don’t do anything since it will have boiling wort in it.

I typically give it a good thorough rinse out with hot water then let it dry upside down on the counter and put away for storage. I keep a bucket of Star San in the basement so before making a new starter, I submerge the flask in the bucket for 5-10 mins while I get everything else ready then dump the Star San immediately before filling with the starter wort. I probably should use some type of cleaner on it but I haven’t so far.
