Best unmalted wheat

I am planning to brew a wheat beer in a couple of weeks that calls for eight ounces of unmalted wheat.
Here’s a list of wheat I found in the bulk section: wheat germ, bulgar wheat, cracked wheat, and wheat berry kernals. Which would be best?

I’m curious why you’re considering those options instead of flaked or torrified wheat. Having problems sourcing the usual unmalted wheat products locally?

Unmalted wheat is $1.99 a pound at my local, these are all less than a buck in the bulk section at the Winco and I could pick them up easily on my daily walk. Although I haven’t thought to price torrified wheat at my local.

Looked on the local’s website and couldn’t find torrified wheat.

I’ve used a few from the local coop … wheat berry kernels as well as things labeled red wheat, white wheat, and winter wheat. They all worked, but in my experience flaked provides the most/best flavor and mouthfeel. For 8 ounces your’re only talking a price difference of less than fifty cents.
