Best Thermometer...give me your suggestions

Over the course of 3.5 years, I’ve broken two glass thermometers. I’m not sure I want to invest in a third. So my question to the brewing masses is: if money was not an option, which thermometer would you buy (or do you own) that you would suggest I pick up next?

Thermapen. Hands down worth every cent. Keep your eyes peeled for an open box sale and don’t think twice about it. 3 second reads. ALWAYS dead on accurate. Rugged and waterproof. 'nuff said.

I have one of these and use it extensively for brewing and cooking.

I couldn’t be happier with my Thermapen. But, the Therma K would also be a great choice.

I got the cheaper Thermoworks model ($20) and it works really good. It says 6 second read time but I routinely get 3-4. Splash proof, easy to read and adjustable calibration. ... 301wa.html

Taylor candy thermometer. With the rigid stainless steel frame you can stir mash or grain bags with it.
