So I am low on homebrewed beer. I went to the local supermarket to get beer for tonight and tomorrow. I grabbed a Blue Point sampler pack. As I placed it in may car I heard the angels sing. I looked up and the Shipyard Brewery van with its majestic artwork pulled into the lot and parked diagonal to me. I could not help but look in awe at the van. Clearly the guys in the van identified that and walked over to my car. I opened the window and he said “we saw ya lookin” and he handed me a beer. I love Shipyard, but I have such a hard time finding it here on Long Island. Hopefully they will convince my local market to stock it. How often does it happen that the beer man gives you samples?
Good deal
I guess I need to start making eye contact with the distributors. After the incident with the crack whore, I’ve been a bit nervous.
At least you’ve admitted you have a problem.
I too was running low on homebrew. I went to the ONLY store within a hour from my house that carries craft beer. I took 1 of my homebrews in as a sample for the owner, which I often do, and bought a build-your-own-six-pack, and in trade for my beer I received a bomber of Delerium Red!!! Made my night.
Am I the only one interested in this story?

No, I would love to hear the rest of the story.

Eye contact can show unintended interest, laughter can be mistaken for a smile, a $15 “party” with four not so close friends can lead to a lifetime of regret.

But since they aren’t close friends your true friends will never find out. As long a you don’t mention it to SWMBO like I did by accident with a stripper I once dated for a VERY short while you’ll be fine. BTW $15 is quiet the bargain!
Ummm… I would say that depends on… a number of variables…
