Belgian IPA Kit with Wyeast 3763?

I received a Belgian IPA kit as a gift recently, and have recently been looking to experiment with sours. The yeast that came with the kit is the cheap/non refrigerated kind, so I was going to be purchasing some new yeast before brew day anyway. Having never brewed a sour, I was wondering if a Belgian IPA would sour well, and additionally, if I would need to replace my hoses and fermenting bucket afterwards in order to prevent future infections. Does anyone have any input?
