Beer painting avoided

Had my first big blow off . Caught it at 0430 saved beer after quickly putting blow tube . The carboy bubbled along for three more days now nothing. Is this beer dead? Should I water the garden with it or maybe throw some yeast in it to kick start it. Thought about racking to 5 gal carboy and tasting. HELP.

No if you were good on the sanitizing when you replaced the airlock with a blowoff tube everything should be fine. So RDWHHB wait two weeks take a gravity reading, if you don’t take readings then when you are transferring to secondary or bottling taste a sample. If it taste sour or like there is something severely wrong with it then you could toss it or call it your first sour batch. You do not have to add yest everything is fine, just because your beer is not bubbling does not mean that it has stopped fermenting.

It is also not abnormal that the fermentation activity seems to have stopped. Alot of brewers experience fermentations that finish this quickly. Note what the previous poster told you though and leave it for a couple weeks, there is still stuff happening in there that needs to happen for that beer to turn out its best.
