I’ve got a Camp Chef cooker under my HLT that I’d like to automate for use in my HERMS setup. Right now the Ranco sensor turns on a strobe light that jolts us out of our beer buzz stupor to turn on the burner. I’d like to make that automatic so we can just keep drinking uninterupted. Is there a tried and true way to automate high pressure propane with a gas control that can plug into the 110v Ranco outlet? All of the automated gas solenoid setups I’ve read about are for low pressure propane, any high pressure plans out there?
