Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. My IPAs are 12oz for a 30 minute hopstand + 4oz dry hop. Never did Columbus solo though, but agree on the dank comments and if you’re into that, solo Columbus should be quite nice. The few times I tried Columbus for dry hopping and it is stellar dank.
