Amount of trube

ok so I did a 2 gal batch on Saturday and one on Sunday. Same base malt on both but one had some rye 10%, with a little flaked oats, 1 cup ,and I got twice as much cold brake with the rye and oats. Is this normal. If so how do I lesson the cold brake or is that not possible. thanks.

Cold break is made up of the solids that fall out of suspension as the beer cools. In general, it’s the stuff that you don’t want in the finished product, so it’s actually a good thing to get more cold break.
