Agave as a ferment able addition

Hey guys, I have heard that a lot of all grain brewers add honey to the wort to add additional sugar to increase the OG. Has anyone tried adding agave nectar? I use it for coffee and baking as a substitute to sugar. I am thinking of adding it to an all grain IPA recipie that I have made up. What do you think? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

They did a group buy. the vender is in one of the post. Some used it straight, like a mead.
